State Properties Corporation (SPC) celebrated the start of construction of the Versailles Clubhouse Complex in an auspicious groundbreaking ceremonies held at the Versailles grounds last November 29, 2008, launching a new phase of the master-planned community that will redefine the concept of luxurious living in Southern Metro Manila.
The event was graced by officers and associates of SPC led by its Chairman Washington Sycip and Directors Allen Roxas, Augusto Lopez-Dee, who also served as the master of ceremonies, Ms. Alice So and Architect Regino Kho. Distinguished guests who also turned sods with the golden shovels included Chinatrust Bank President William Go, Steag State Power President Andreas Rubin, Dr. Alfonso Uy, Versailles' first residents Ambassadors Romualdo and Farita Ong and Versailles' Principal Architect Felino A. Senior Pastor Larry Fabiona of the Greenhills Christian Fellowship delivered a hopeful message and blessed the ceremonies that was also attended by other Versailles residents.
Designed and conceptualized by the country's premier architectural and design firm Palafox Associates, the Versailles Clubhouse Complex will rise in a sprawling nature park to provide Versailles' privileged residents with amenities that come with luxurious living.
Roxas noted in his speech that the Versailles Clubhouse Complex will occupy an enormous space of 1.2 hectares, allowing it to offer residents with access to the grand multipurpose hall and function rooms, library, gym, sauna and spa. The Clubhouse also features an interconnected water expanse that has dip pool, lap and kiddie pools that would rival the swimming pools of the country's most luxurious hotels. Versailles homeowners will also enjoy sports and leisure activities in the indoor basketball and badminton courts as well as the outdoor tennis courts. Furthermore, Roxas mentioned that the Clubhouse has an indoor seating capacity of 300 people and 500 people outdoor for special events and occasions that Versailles residents may hold.
The Clubhouse, which is expected to be completed in November 2009, is only one of Versailles distinct features that set it in a class of its own. |
